Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Prayer Altar, provided by Absalom Inc. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Prayer Altar provides

Prayer Altar offers tools for private Christian prayer, reflection, planning, Testimonies, Vision Board creation, reminders, and related experiences on iPhone, Widget, and Apple Watch. Prayer Altar is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, emergency, or pastoral crisis care. If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, safeguarding credentials and devices, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. You may not impersonate another person, interfere with security controls, or use the service unlawfully. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, Prayer Altar, or legal obligations.

Your content

You retain ownership of prayers, notes, photos, and other content you add. You give Absalom Inc. a limited permission to host, process, synchronize, back up, and display that content only as needed to operate and secure Prayer Altar. You represent that you have the rights needed to upload the content and that it does not violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, or legal rights.

Shared prayer requests

When you create or distribute a prayer-request link, you are responsible for the people you invite and the information you ask them to submit. Do not publish links where unintended people can access them, collect sensitive information you do not need, or submit unlawful, abusive, threatening, or deceptive content. Disable a link if it has been shared beyond its intended audience.

Prayer Altar Plus and Apple purchases

Optional Plus products are purchased and billed by Apple through the App Store. Prices, taxes, renewal terms, cancellation, refunds, and payment handling are governed by the purchase screen, your Apple account settings, and Apple's applicable terms. Auto-renewable subscriptions continue until canceled through Apple. Lifetime access is tied to the recognized non-consumable product and the Apple account used for purchase. Restoring purchases requires App Store access and a valid transaction.

Third-party services

Prayer Altar relies on services such as Apple, Google, Supabase, and Vercel. Their separate terms may apply when you use authentication, purchases, MusicKit, notifications, hosting, or synchronization. Availability of those services can affect Prayer Altar.

Service changes

We may improve, secure, limit, or discontinue features. We will take reasonable care with private data and provide notice when a material change requires it. Features may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, legal restrictions, or provider interruptions.

Account deletion

You may delete your account through the authenticated in-app flow. Deletion is permanent after completion and removes access to synchronized account content. Copies of local exports that you saved or shared outside Prayer Altar are under your control. See the account deletion page and Privacy Policy for details.

Disclaimers and responsibility

Prayer Altar is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Spiritual reflections and Scripture-based guidance are tools for personal use and do not guarantee spiritual, health, financial, relationship, or other outcomes. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact
